12.04.2011 Bakurianiyə son səfərdən qeydlər
Gürcüstanın gözəl məkanlarından olan Bakurianiyə budəfəki səfərimiz ötənilki səyahətimizdən xeyli fərqlənirdi.
İlk dəfə idi ki, biz ora Səudiyyə Ərəbistanından Azərbaycana «ağarmağa» gəlmiş oğlumuzun ailəsi ilə birlikdə getmişdik. Və beləliklə də Nəcəfovlar ailəsinin üç nəslinin nümayədəsi ciyin-ciynə, əl-ələ, “qaraların ağardığı yer”də qış idman növlərindən birlikdə həzz almış oldular. Digər tərəfdən, əgər iki il əvvəl biz cəmi 3 nəfər, 2010-cu ildəsə 18 səyahətçi idiksə, artıq bu il Azərbaycandan Bakurianiyə təşrif gətirənlərin sayı 41 nəfərə çatmışdı.

Qısa tarixçə
Bu layihənin əsası hələ 2005-ci ildə qoyulmuşdu... Bir qrup norveçli ilə bizim dağlara səyahət zamanı, birlikdə skaut yürüşü etmək barədə təklif irəli sürmüşdük. Bu kəlmələr sonradan öz bəhrəsini verdi. 2008-ci ildə isə həm Azərbaycanda, həm də Norveçdə birgə skaut tədbirlərini nəzərdə tutan “Dostluq” birgə layihəsi  baş tutdu.

2009-cu ilin payızında Azərbaycana səfər etmək arzusunda olan norveçlilərə  Quba rayonunun dağlıq ərazilərinə səyahəti təklif etdik.  Yürüşün maraqlı olması üçün  əsas,  yürüşün İDEYA-sıdır. Bütün detalları təşkil etmək lazımdır. Əslində, yürüşün təşkilində xırda detal olmur. Hər şey vacibdir. Hazırlıq mərhələsi uzun çəksə də, norveçlilərin gəlişinə tam hazır idik. Bütün xırdalıqlar - təchizat, nəqliyyat, büdcə və digər məsələlər həll olunmuşdu. Bizi bu yürüşə ruhlandıran Saşa dayı, təəssüf ki, son anda bizə qatılmadı. Ona görə də 10 nəfər yürüş iştirakçısının məsuliyyətini, skaut dilində desək, mən Bagira, öz üzərimə götürməli oldum.

CONQUEST OF HEIGHTS: SHAKHDAG THE MAGNIFICENT…
       The simplest, not requiring application of special mountaineering equipment is the ascent to the Shakhdag peak (4243m) from the south along the route taken by Andrey Pastukhov – the first topographer to climb the summit in 1892 and draw the map of the mountain range.

ADVENTURES UP IN THE MOUNTAINS

Magnificent and severe mountains have always drawn people’s gazes. Since ancient times people have lived in the mountains of Azerbaijan, trodden paths throw snowy passages and built settlements in picturesque places which were difficult to access. Up in the mountains people sought salvation from devastating raids. In hot summers herds grazed on cool   highland pastures by fresh and pure springs.

           A 25 year long period of joint family life is known to be called “silver wedding”. Silver gray hairs covered their heads and to celebrate this anniversary they decided to ascend the Shakhdag mountain on a fresh silver morning. They called this project of their “A summit for two” ...

ASSAULT THE ICY WATERFALLS!

Ice-climbing is a relatively young kind of sports, but its popularity in the world grows every year. For Azerbaijan this kind of sports is quite unordinary and it attracts mainly the people who are keen on extreme kinds of sports. To a certain degree one can suppose that ice-climbing is a kin to rock climbing. In our republic one can have a chance to practice this fascination sports for hardly one month a year, when the numerous waterfalls in the ridges of the Main Caucasian Mountain Ridge freeze into ice.

   Azerbaijan is a highland, and about 60% of its territory is occupied by mountains and foothills. And it means a planty of the most beautiful mountain rivers proceeding in picturesque canyons! A huge resource for canyoning and body rafting! Moreover, not having been used by anybody yet!
